If you're looking to switch up your hair game, Coi Leray braids may be just what you need. Named after the popular rapper, these jumbo knotless braids have curly ends and are a fun and stylish option for those who want to change up their hair.

Here's what you'll need to get started:

  • 3 to 6 packs of braiding hair (Xpression or Kanekalon).
  • Black rubber bands.
  • Shine n Jam.
  • Mousse.
  • Edge control.
  • A comb.
  • Perm rods.
  • Hot water.

To start, you'll want to prepare your braiding hair by separating it into manageable sections. Next, use your edge control to slick down any flyaways and then apply mousse to add definition and hold. Then, using your perm rods, curl the ends of the braiding hair to create the curly look.

Once the braiding hair is ready, take small sections of your own hair and braid them with the braiding hair, adding more braiding hair as you go. When you reach the ends, secure with a rubber band. Repeat this process until all of your hair is braided.

Finally, use hot water to soften the braids and then apply the Shine n Jam to add some shine. You're now ready to rock your Coi Leray braids!
